Sunshine Academy Learning Center, Inc : Arrival and Pickup

The Center is staffed according to the enrollment at any given time during the day. This staff scheduling procedure is determined using the estimated times of arrival and departue the each parent must provide at enrollment. Therefore, if your child will be at the Center at other than what was estimated (i.e. if you must bring your child in one hour early or pick child up one hour late), you must notify and recieve approval from the Program Director as soon as you know this will occur. This enables the Program Director to ensure the Center is adequately staffed. However, usually last minute arrival and departure changes can be accommodated. A phone call is always appreciated if you will be late picking up your child due to a sudden emergency.

It is very important that you sign your child in and out each day. We have installed a touch-pad system for signing your child in and out. A back up sign in/out sheet is always available for this purpose if the touch-pad is not functioning. The Program Director or your childs' teacher will assist you in using these and show you where they are kept.

Please walk your child to his/her classroom. It is important that your childs' teacher knows your child is in the facility. Our staff try to talk to each parent and child upon arrival and departue.

Only those persons authorized by you may pick up your child. The staff will not release your child to any other person without prior specific authorization. The staff may also require identification from the person picking up your child if he/she is not familiar to the staff.
